Towable Water Toys in Georgia

At Young Harris Water Sports, we have a variety of towable water toys available for rental alongside your watercraft.

Combo Skis

Combo skis help skiers get a strong deep water start. Using combo skis, skiers crouch in the water and are then propelled to the surface as the boat accelerates. These skis are designed for stability and ease, which make them ideal for beginners learning the ropes. Along with the skier and boat driver, the spotter is responsible for keeping an eye on the skier and alerting the driver in case of a fall.

Wakeboard

A blend of surfing and water skiing, wakeboards help riders stand on a single platform while being pulled behind a boat. The wakeboard is specially designed to allow for aerial maneuvers as riders launch into jumps. Spotters watch out for issues and communicate falls to the driver during the ride.

Single/Double Tube

Tubes are versatile water toys that typically accommodate 1 or 2 riders at a time. They are securely tethered to watercraft that tows them through the water. Tubes glide and bounce over waves, which makes for an exhilarating ride. Some tubers prefer a more casual pace that is perfect for relaxing under the sun.

Wakesurfer Board

Unlike wakeboarding, wakesurfing involves riding a specialized board that’s designed to surf free-style behind a boat. The rider is not tethered to the vessel. Boards are crafted to carve through the boat’s wake, which simulates the experience of surfing on ocean tides.

Kneeboard

Kneeboarding is an aquatic sport where the participant is towed on a buoyant, convex, and hydrodynamically shaped board at a planing speed. In the usual configuration of a tow-sport kneeboard, riders kneel on their heels on the board and secure themselves to the deck with an adjustable Velcro strap over their thighs. Most water ski kneeboards do not have fins because it allows for easier surface spins. Kneeboarding is typically a quicker learning curve for newbies, and falling is less frightening because of the participant’s closer proximity to the water.
