In Georgia, a standard driver’s license is all you need to tow most pull-behind campers. We’ll provide you with the full weight specs of your rental unit so you can confirm your vehicle is properly rated before your trip out of Young Harris.
Most of our trailers require a tow vehicle with a solid towing capacity — full-size trucks, SUVs, and larger crossovers are typically a great fit. When you book with us, we’ll share the exact specs for your chosen camper so there are no surprises when you pull up to our lot.
Yes, you’ll need a compatible hitch receiver, trailer wiring harness, and safety chains on your tow vehicle. If you’re not sure what you have, give us a call before your reservation and we’ll help you figure out what’s needed.
When you pick up your camper at Young Harris Water Sports, we’ll walk you through everything on board. You’ll just need to bring your personal items, cookware, linens, food, and anything specific to your adventure in the North Georgia mountains. Young Harris Water Sports offers Kitchen, linen, and camping packages for your convience.
We offer flexible rental periods to fit your schedule, whether you’re planning a quick weekend getaway in the Blue Ridge area or an extended stay. Contact our team and we’ll work with you to find the best rental window based on availability.
Our cancellation policy is three weeks with a 10% cancellation fee. Trip insurance allows cancellation up to the last minute and cost 10% of rented vessel. Either way if you reserve with us you are on the hook for 10%. Trip insurance does not offer coverage once you take position of the rented craft. Disagreeing with or not understanding company policies regarding rentals is excluded from trip coverage. i.e. pet policy or age restrictions.
We love that the Young Harris area is so pet-friendly! Some of our campers are available for guests traveling with pets. Just let us know when you book so we can set you up with the right unit. A Fifty dollar pet fee will be applied.
