When you book a reservation, you will be offered the option of purchasing trip insurance. With trip insurance, you can cancel your reservation up to 24 hours before your booking date. You will get 100% of your rental cost back.
If you don’t have trip insurance, reservations are refundable if you cancel at least 15 days before your arrival date. Any cancellations made less than 2 weeks before a reservation date will forfeit all refunds.
If you are later than one hour to your pick-up appointment, you will forfeit your reservation, and that vessel can be rented to another guest. You may call ahead and let us know you are running late, though, and we will hold your reservation. In these cases, the total cost of your rental will not be reduced by the amount of time you are late.
Young Harris Watersports reserves the right to cancel any reservation due to dangerous weather conditions. In this case, a credit voucher for the full rental amount will be issued to impacted customers to be used at a later date (no monetary refunds will be issued unless trip insurance was purchased).
Refunds or vouchers will not be issued for inclement weather once the vessel has departed. We will not waive the terms of our cancellation policy for future weather forecasts, slight drizzles, or cloudy weather.
